The Association of Professional Exterior Elevated Element Inspectors is open to any person who is engaged in the profession of inspecting Exterior Elevated Elements that are the subject of California Civil Code §5551 and Ca Health and Safety Codes §17973 commonly called the Balcony Inspection laws and also referred to as Senate Bills 326 & 721. Architects, Engineers, Contractors and others can become members of the E3 Inspection Association provided they meet the following minimum requirements and comply with the professional standards and rules established by the E3-Inspection Association.
The E3 Inspection Association was formed in 2020 to act as the voice of professionals and serve as a resource for both our members and the public. Since our inception, we have been committed to serving our members with valuable resources, quality education and serving as a collective voice for the Exterior Elevated Element Inspection community in California.
PROFESSIONAL MEMBER ELIGIBILITY:
To become a E3 Inspection Association Professional member, you must meet the following guidelines:
•Passed the Candidate Review Standards
•Hold a valid license as an Architect, Engineer (Structural or Civil), General A or B Contractor with a minimum 5 years experience or an ICC Certified Inspector.
•Agree to E3 Inspection Association Code of Ethics
•Adhere to the E3 Inspection Association Bylaws
MEMBERSHIP COST: Annual: $150.00 (January 01 – December 31)
ASSOCIATE MEMBER ELIGIBILITY:
Individual’s not otherwise eligible as E3 Certified Inspectors through the E3 Association, and provide support for Professional Inspectors shall be eligible for Associate Membership in the Association.
Individual Members: Those who work with or for and established professional organization, or construction company, and involved in positions associate to the field of construction-related inspections.
Organizational Representatives: Those who are employed by firms associated with the construction industry engaged in research, design, development, testing, manufacture, distribution, inspection, or training in the fields construction products or systems
MEMBERSHIP COST: Annual: $100.00 (January 01- December 31)
